FAQ's

Massage time will vary due to your pet’s needs/tolerance level for the day. Many dogs need to build up to longer massage sessions as they get to know the process. Small dogs usually do not tolerate more than 30 minutes of massage and larger dogs may require 45 minutes to an hour. Initial Consults will include an evaluation, discussion and a massage session. Initial Consults tend to run 45-75 min, Standard Sessions tend to run 30-45 min.

It is always best to work on a dog after he/she has had a bit of exercise, be it a play session or walk. Please make sure your dog hasn’t eaten a big meal at least 30 minutes before a massage. We also ask that you ‘potty’ your dog prior to their session.

Any place in your home where your pet is most comfortable will work. We ask that the environment is free of any distractions such as other pets, toys, food, noise, etc…

Yes. We encourage our clients to be present, as long as the dog is able to settle and isn’t too distracted with the client around.

We will not perform services on animals that:

• are exhibiting signs of illness, sickness or infectious disease (bacterial / fungal).

• have known, or suspected, internal organ issues or fractures.

• are on medications, or supplements, where an increased absorption rate could pose a significant health risk.

In addition, services WILL NOT be performed on any mass without a written benign diagnosis from a medical professional OR parts of the body recently operated on (includes all surgical procedures).
